We are PZArts CIC and we are proud to announce an exciting new venture for the community….

We’re bringing the Art School and attached buildings, back to life! This local team is working to bring these much-loved buildings into community ownership, to turn them into a creative home for everyone -offering workshops, studios, exhibitions, and space to connect, learn, and make together. It’s about celebrating Penzance’s heritage while building a bold, creative future for all.

Our Mission

We are PZArts CIC raising funds to buy and refit Penzance School of Arts, Library and Science School buildings in Cornwall to house heritage arts and crafts education, practice, celebration and community spaces.

The Three Buildings

This will house tenants aligned with CIC ethos. Future options will be designed around community needs.

The Former Library

This will be converted into a professionally managed artist studio offering a selection of affordable pods of varying sizes.
