SAVE PENZANCE SCHOOL OF ART

Help us buy and transform the historic Penzance School of Art buildings into the beating heart of arts and crafts in Cornwall.

PZArts CIC has been working since 2025 to Save Penzance School of Art buildings and we are thrilled to share that, supported by the Architectural Heritage Fund, we are working on the Viability Study of the project and look forward to sharing the journey with you.

We are PZArts CIC and we are working to raise funds to buy, refurbish, refit and relaunch The Penzance School of Art, Museum/Library and Science School to deliver a multi faceted campus for Heritage Arts and Crafts education, practice, celebration and community spaces.

The Three Buildings

The Science School

This will house tenants aligned with CIC ethos. Future options will be designed around community needs.

This will be converted into a professionally managed artist studios offering a selection of affordable pods of varying sizes.

This will house the ‘Heritage Arts & Crafts School’, with distinct offerings: Art School Workshops, Library & Study Space, and an Arts Shop
